Hey everyone! I’m Anish! I’m a third-year EECS major from Tampa, Florida. I’m super excited to serve as Head TA for 127 this semester and contribute to making this course an optimal experience for you all! I thoroughly enjoyed the content in 127, especially in its applicability to so many different areas, and I hope you find appreciation for it as well! My current research areas include chip design and robotics. Outside the classroom, I enjoy hiking around Berkeley’s beautiful campus, listening to music, and traveling. Hi! I’m a first-year PhD student in EECS from the Bay Area. I did both my undergrad and masters at Berkeley – Go Bears! My research is about developing the mathematical foundations and theoretical principles of deep learning, and applying them to make current deep learning methods better. Previously I was a TA for six semesters, including three semesters on EE127 course staff. In my free time, I play chess, basketball, and TFT, and mess around with my LaTeX setup.
